What is our mission?
Hamra Green is an environmental initiative within Hamra’s digital ecosystem. We use technology and community collaboration to protect Afghanistan’s natural resources.
Through the Hamra app, citizens can report environmental challenges, join tree-planting campaigns, and learn practical sustainability habits.
Since its launch, Hamra Green has grown into one of Afghanistan’s largest youth-led environmental movements, mobilizing more than 20,000 volunteers across all 34 provinces. The initiative has empowered young women and men to become environmental leaders by combining volunteerism, environmental education, and community action.
