Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Hamra services, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

Note: These terms form a legal agreement between you and Hamra. Continued use means full acceptance.

Services

Hamra is a technology platform that connects users with service providers such as drivers, restaurants, and other partners. Hamra is not the direct provider of those services.

Our platform includes:

  • Taxi and rickshaw - personal transportation
  • Food ordering - delivery from restaurants
  • Motorcycle service - fast parcel delivery
  • Marketplace - buying and selling
  • Home, education, health, and other on-demand services

Important: Hamra may modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice.

User Obligations

Passenger Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information
  • Keep account credentials secure
  • Follow applicable laws and platform rules
  • Treat drivers and other users respectfully
  • Pay service fees on time
  • Do not misuse the platform

Driver Responsibilities

  • Maintain valid driving documents
  • Keep the vehicle in safe condition
  • Comply with traffic regulations
  • Behave professionally with passengers
  • Follow announced pricing rules
  • Respect passenger privacy

Account Management

User Accounts (Passengers)

Users can manage their account directly in the Hamra application:

How to edit or delete your account

  1. Open the Hamra application
  2. Go to the Profile or Account section
  3. Edit your personal details as needed
  4. Select Delete Account to remove your account
  5. Confirm your deletion request

Warning: After deletion, your account data and ride history are permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

Driver Accounts

Security Restriction for Drivers

Drivers cannot directly edit or delete their own account.

To protect platform integrity and user safety, all driver account changes must be processed through Hamra technical support.

How to request account changes

  1. Contact the Hamra technical team
  2. Submit your request (data update or account deletion)
  3. Provide required identity documents
  4. After verification, your request will be processed

Why this restriction exists
This policy protects passengers, prevents abuse, and ensures driver information remains accurate in the system.

Payment and Pricing

Payment Methods

  • Cash payment to drivers or providers
  • Online payment through the application
  • Bank cards and digital wallets

Pricing

Prices are calculated based on distance, time, service type, and demand. Rates may increase during peak periods.

Commission

Hamra charges a percentage commission on transactions to operate and improve the platform.

Refunds: If a service issue or cancellation occurs, refunds are processed within 3 to 7 business days.

Cancellation Policy

Passenger Cancellation

  • Free cancellation up to 2 minutes after confirmation
  • Cancellation between 2 and 5 minutes: 20% fee
  • Cancellation after 5 minutes: 50% fee
  • No-show: 100% fee

Driver Cancellation

  • Unjustified cancellation: warning
  • Repeated cancellations: account suspension
  • Cancellation fee is refunded to the passenger
  • Driver must inform the passenger

Prohibited Activities

Users are not allowed to perform the following actions:

Using other people’s information without permission
Posting harmful or inappropriate content
Attempting to hack or penetrate systems
Creating fake accounts
Fraudulent activities
Using services for illegal purposes
Unauthorized advertising or spam
Violating intellectual property rights

⚠️ Violations may result in suspension or permanent account removal.

Liability and Warranty

Limitation of Liability

Hamra acts as an intermediary platform and is not directly responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of third-party services. Still, we work to deliver the best possible experience.

No Warranty

Services are provided on an "as is" basis. Hamra does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or reliability.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Hamra and its team against claims, damages, or costs resulting from your misuse of services.

Dispute Resolution

If a dispute occurs, follow these steps:

Account Termination

Changes to Terms

Hamra may update these terms at any time. For major changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notice. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.
